Registered chiropractor in the Netherlands
Hello! Hi there! I'm Kahlo.
I was born and raised in Germany, in the beautiful city of Wiesbaden, known for its stunning architecture, hot springs, and parks. My journey took me to England, where I began studying chiropractic at AECC University College in Bournemouth.
Why I Became a Chiropractor
My passion for chiropractic started early. After a horse-riding accident at the age of 8, I experienced firsthand the positive impact chiropractic care could have and became fascinated by the connection between the spine, nervous system, and overall health. A few years later, I developed a persistent knee injury. Despite seeing multiple healthcare professionals, I struggled to find answers until I returned to a chiropractor, who helped me recover and get back to doing what I loved. That experience confirmed my desire to become a chiropractor and help others the way I had been helped.
Areas of Interest
I enjoy treating people of all ages and with a wide variety of complaints. I have a particular interest in helping people with neck pain, headaches, and jaw pain, as these are issues I have experienced myself. Having gone through these challenges personally allows me to genuinely understand how much they can affect daily life, and I know how life-changing it can be to regain comfort, confidence, and function.
During my training, I worked closely with midwives, breastfeeding mothers, and young families, where I witnessed the positive impact chiropractic care can have on babies and children. This further fuelled my passion for supporting families and helping people build strong foundations for lifelong health. My goal is to help every patient, from newborns to the elderly, achieve their best possible health and quality of life.
Life Outside the Clinic
Outside the clinic, I love staying active and spending time outdoors. You'll often find me at the gym or CrossFit, out for a walk, or learning something new. I also have a deep love for animals and share my home with our three cats: Tigger, Cookie, and Snoopy. One of my long-term goals is to expand my knowledge and one day work with animals as well.
Growing up close to the Dutch border, I visited the Netherlands frequently, so making it my home felt like a natural step.
I'm excited to be in Amsterdam and look forward to helping people on their journey towards better health and wellbeing.
